Happy Water Dragon Lunar New Year everyone!!! I wish all of us a prosperous, abundance and healthy year ahead!! It was heavy downpour here in Singapore on eve of LNY and first day of LNY itself.. Water Dragon much?? =p

Chinese New Year 2563

It's one week to Chinese New Year 2563!! I have been spending Chinese New Year in Singapore these past years and I loved every bit of it.. The red color, Chinese Zodiac decorations, the feasting, the cookies and cakes, the bak kwa, the Lion Dance, the greetings, the exchange of Oranges, the reunion dinner and of course the Red Packet!! It is a tradition during Chinese New Year for elderly folks and married people to give red packet/pocket to children and unmarried people.. I've read some comments regarding how unmarried adults find it silly or shameful to receive red pockets on CNY which I found, well, ridiculous.. Receive red packets/pockets is not about the money at all. It is about the wishes that we receive from people while they gave it to us. The red packet/pocket itself is a symbol of wishes and it had been a Chinese tradition for ages. People had been giving it out not only on CNY, but also on birthdays, weddings, or any happy occasion.. So if you find it silly to receive it then..it's your loss la..=p

Anyways, we visited North Point the other day and there was a Lion Dance performance!! I have always been fascinated by the skill needed to perform yet another tradition on CNY!! How awesome is CNY?? =p

Year End, New Year..

So I spent my year end and new year in Medan.. I was there for a solid two weeks.. I spent most of it hanging out, taking silly pictures, and feasting with CJ and my dear cousin.. Nothing really special planned on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve too.. The three of us (My sister, cousin and I) used to have our annual gift exchange on Christmas Eve, but we stopped it since last year. Come to think about it, it was actually made me sad now cause we were always looking forward to it every Christmas. Maybe we should bring it back, shouldn't we?? =p

Now here are summary of how I spent my time in Medan..=`)

Had Christmas Eve lunch with CJ..=`)

then tried Christmasy drink Toffee Nut Latte for the first time!!

and then headed to church for Christmas Eve Mass with the boy..=`)

On Christmas Day, CJ and I went red and green!! =p

And we had Dim Sum lunch with my cousin..

It's the end of 2011!!! It has been a huge year!! A lot of changes in my life, big changes, be it good or bad.. Everything has their own merit, and as they say, never live a life full of regrets, people..=`)

I have always loved the X-Men series, so there is no reason not to love their prequel!! There are so many things to love about this movie.. First, of course, is that Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) made a cameo in it..=p

Their lead actors, James McAvoy as Charles and Michael Fassbender as Erik, give you more reason to love men other than Robert Pattinson..=p Here's why:

The show is still new and all but it has already been nominated for next year's Golden Globe Award!! Including Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical for Zooey Deschanel herself!! It is the year of Deschanel!!

It was so crowded and packed and messy, some children even came with their swimming suits!! =p

Toy Story by Bossini

Bossini launched its Toy Story Collection last November and we went to its balloon sculpting event at Takashimaya.. Kids can choose what balloon character they would like the balloonist to sculpt and they get their queue number to wait for their balloon. There are five Toy Story characters to choose from, and Little Kent chose Woody of course..=`)

It's finally December!!! 2011 has almost come to an end..fiuh..what a tiring year!! I can't say it has been a good year for me, but I am sure the best is yet to come..so..excited to welcome 2012!! It would be the last year of human life according to the Mayans!! =p Just a thought, what would you like to accomplish if next year is really going to be the end of the world?? Have you say enough "I Love You", "Thank You", and "I'm Sorry"?? Have you try to do the things that you never thought you will?

Elephant Parade Singapore 2011

I read about Elephant Parade and its way to Asia from Jetstar's magazine and it's finally here in Singapore!! It is an organization dedicated to create awareness for the cause of elephant conservation, especially for Asian elephant, which threatened by extinction. There are a lot of baby elephants, painted and decorated by international artists and celebrities (including Katy Perry and Nadya Hutagalung!) along Orchard Rd, Marina Bay, Vivo City, Botanic Gardens, Singapore Zoo, museums, etc!! We only got the chance to spot the elephants alongside Orchard Road and Little Kent loved to pose with them!! =`)

I love the "Paul Frank Elephant" just outside ION Orchard!! Very cute with vibrant colors!! <3

So apparently it's a special date, and everyone is buzzing about it, so I decided to write a post to mark it instead of just change my BBM status to it..=p

This month is so full of festivities that I love but sadly, I won't be around to enjoy them!! It will be my 7th year anniversary with CJ on the 15th, but we won't even be able to meet each other on the day! Well maybe through Skype but it doesn't count!! and it's freaking 7 years!!! =`((( sad max!!

Also my best friend is getting married on the 20th which I won't be able to attend too!! But I wish her and husband happily ever after!! =`))

Luckily, we were able to had a simple birthday celebration for Little Kent last 7th November for his 5th birthday..=`))

He was so happy when we sang him birthday song..=`)

Wow.. Time really flies!! It is already November!! How's everyone's Halloween?? Didn't get any chance to really celebrate it here.. Anyho, we've been taking Little Kent to Orchard Rd lately and he is loving every bit of it!! Ya lah, who doesn't love Orchard Rd anyway?? Heard that it is going to light up Christmas lights soon!! So excited to see the coming Christmas decorations and deciding myself which one is the best!! =p

What is the last movie you watched that made you cried your hearts out? Mine is 3 Idiots!! Yaa, say all you want about Bollywood or Indian Movies, this one is really good and beautiful, and also funny!! It's about friendship, about love, about the pressure of being the perfect one, about being good parents and children, about competition, about the broken system in our life/ lifestyle right now,and most importantly, about kindness.. Ya, the main character, Ranchho, is too good to be true with his big heart, but still, it is what make the movie so good.. The movie is 3 hours long but I guarantee it will be worth it.. It earns itself a 8.3 out of 10 ratings in IMDB, so not gonna bluff you guys, go watch it!! I'mma embedded a small part of the movie here to convince you..=`)

Qian Hu Fish Farm

We brought little Kent to visit Qian Hu Fish Farm after church Last Sunday.. The fish farm is located around Old Choa Chu Kang Rd but they provide Shuttle Bus services from Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange so it's quite convenient to get there..

and..we arrived!! and..everyone started to get very excited and wanted to try fishing too!!

There is a pool full of turtle and you are allowed to feed them.. They have fish spa service too!!

It was very hot at that day and we gave up trying to fish coz it is actually harder than it looks..

But my mom was persistent!!!

and she ended up catching more fish for us!! yayy!!

There is KOI feeding pond too.. I love KOI, I think they are pretty..=`)

Done with fishing, we went to the cafe and I have this old skool ice cream..=p

Then we waited for the shuttle bus back to Choa Chu Kang MRT..=`)

We certainly had fun!! =`)

Have you ever wonder, how does it feel to be blind? Is there any agony there, deep inside their heart, for they have never seen any light? Or could it be that blind people are actually happier? Out of all senses, I am most afraid of losing my sight.. I may endure losing my hearing, touch, smell and taste, but I can't bear to not be able to see faces of people that I love, to not be able to see all the wonders of the world, all the beautiful butterflies and rainbows..

Have it ever occurred to you, that we may be perfectly healthy, but our hearts might have gone blind?? How many people out there that are actually blind for money? Too blind for money that it eats their soul? Too blind for money that they do not even understand love anymore? Too blind for money that it is the only thing that they chase, they left out precious moments and people who loved them?

How many people out there that are actually blind for power? Too blind for power they step on those who are weak? Too blind for power they eliminate whoever comes in their way? Too blind for power they rather turn to the dark side as long as people worship them?

And how blind would you go for love? Could it be the most dangerous thing, if you're blinded by love? Or instead, the other way around, would it be the most beautiful thing, if love has made you blind? Would you call it sacrifice? or would you simply call it stupidity?

For whatever it's worth, I am glad to be able to see things, though not perfect.. which is why I am showing you my poor poor imperfect hometown, Medan, which I still love deeply..=p

It's finally October!! Fiuh.. It's counting down to Halloween and you can smell Christmas already, I think everyone loves October!! Okay, I made that up.. First up I wanna congrats the sis on her first job ever!! Woohoo!!! I am so proud of her and I hope she will stand strong.. Read about her rambling here.

So what's with the "Topher" on my title, if I may explain, is not about one of my fave actors, Topher Grace whom I think did a fantastic job in "That 70's Show", but instead the meaning behind the name itself which is "Bearing Christ". I am not about to preach about religion or anything, but I feel like I am letting Him down lately, by not trusting Him enough, and still in this state where I don't feel close to Him, and accused Him of abandoning me, so there is this distant between us because I am not bearing Him in the way that I'm supposed to.. And I feel terrible and I know He understands but I just can't stop questioning whether He still loves me.. Obviously I know He does, cause He has shown me the right way before, He stopped me from leaving Him, and I think it's time for me to see that He actually has sent me His protection, through people that has never stopped loving me, you should know who you are..=`)

I crave for places like this in Medan, where people could actually have a nice clean picnic, like what Singaporeans can do at Botanic Garden or a really proper Zoo where people would actually visit.. What, a girl can dream, right? =p

Another hanging out session while I was in Medan, this time with my ex-colleagues, now-friends, and since Medan's only fun place to go is Sun Plaza, there we were..

With the ever pretty Ms. Synvia, who is pregnant with baby boy (and due soon!!)

and the now-photogenic Ms. Oliv coz of too much picture taking with me..teehee..=p

We were sitting down and teased Ms. Herlyna who can't join us that day because of her busy schedule through bbm, and she insisted to have another hang out session with her.. So here it was:

All four of us at Mr. Pancake, Sun Plaza, yet none of us ordered pancake because it was lunch time and we were too hungry we need entree!!! =p

My pasta of that day.. I forgot all the prices of the food so can't be bother to post them on hungryteru2xbozu..

And this was Ms. Oliv's Chocolate Waffle which she can't finish that day which explains her slim model figure..=p

And we all share this delicious looking banana fritters.. It was too sweet though..

We missed Karunia, who is also packed with busy schedule and can't join us.. I took pictures with her but she won't allow me to post, at least not until November.. I know, so secretive, right?? =p
We talked about, well mostly of our previous working place, and it really made me miss teaching.. I miss all my students, and all their cute small talks with me before..=`((

Its been a hell of a month this September.. Don't you just wish its October already?? All I can say is whatever it is, everything is just going to be alright..Right?? =p

It's not where you are in life,

Went to hang out with my college buddies while I was in Medan.. It's been difficult for us to find a proper time to meet up since Erni has started her own family and Ivanna who moved to Jakarta, so I was really glad to be able to hang out with them. We share and talk A LOT, like really a lot!! We always have a lot to talk about every time we gather!! I remember back in college time, whenever we had group project we would gather at Christine's house and spend 3/4 of our project time gossiping rather than discuss about project..=p

But I am very proud of this team of mine as whenever we had project back then, we almost always ended up with good grades..<3<3<3

Other than our hearts to hearts session, we also took a lot of pictures!! We took turn to snap pictures and made a lot of "fingers" gesture..=p

And Ivanna insisted we had to pose with Yakun Kaya Toast's pillows..=.="

Changi Airport is always pleasant to go through before hometown. It's hard to face hometown's airport when you're used to Changi's fuzz-free system. We have always go through Terminal 1, and it has just got a lift off which made it look supa pretty..=`)

How you doin dolls?? Been missing me? Well I have been missing my favorite TV Shows which mostly (well actually, all of them) are on break right now to prepare for new seasons.. I am especially excited for this September coz all of them will be back on screen altogether!!

Now because I am generous and like to share my happiness, I'll list down my current Top 3 Favorite TV Shows for you so you'll go and watch them too, rather than stuck with American Idol or Gossip Girl all the time..teehee..=p

The Big Bang Theory

This show is funny but in a very nerdy way.. According to CJ, this one is the funniest from all three and also his favorite.. It is about 4 genius nerds, Sheldon- Leonard- Howard- Raj and one blonde pretty neighbor, Penny.. (for more detail go wikipedia it..=p)

Sheldon, the most genius of them (at least according to him) is the one that made this show pops with his quirkiness and his nerdy physics comments.. I used to hate Physics due to particular arrogant-annoying Physics teacher during my 3 years of high school time but this show might have made me revise my view on Physics..=p

The Casts:

Raj- Sheldon- Penny- Leonard- Howard

The boys are so nerdy that even though 3 of them had PhD and one had Master, they read comic books, obsessed with Star Trek (they even know Klingon!!) and play video games.. It is the reason why I love the show!!

How I Met Your Mother

This show is about Ted, who re-told his romance to his kids on how he met their mother.. This show is so awesome that it is going to be its Season 7 this September!! I blame it on the awesome Neil Patrick Harris!! =p

okay I blame it on the awesome casts that include Josh Radnor as Ted, Neil Patrick Harris as Barney, Jason Segel as Marshall, Alyson Hannigan as Lily, Cobie Smulders as Robin.. Even their guest appearances are awesome, namely Britney Spears, Enrique Iglesias, Rachel Bilson, Joe Manganiello, Laura Prepon, Mandy Moore, and many more!

I love that the show is not only funny, it is also as sweet as Marshall and Lily's relationship, as tight as all of the main characters' friendship, Barney's addiction to suit, Canadian jokes on Robin (which reminds me of my favorite TV Show of all time, That 70's Show) and tons of valuable lessons from Barney Stinson, like this one below!! (oh you'll know that there are much more if you watch the show..teehee..=p)

Modern Family

This comedy is about really non traditional family at all (thus explains the title) of Jay who has a daughter, Claire and a son, Mitchell. Three of them have their own family and basically the show is about these three families. Even though Modern Family is only on its way to Season 3 but it has won multiple awards and received tons of award nominations, the show itself and all of its casts!!

The Pritchett Family

The Pritchett Family of Jay, who re-married a young and beautiful Colombian Gloria- who has a son Manny, from her previous marriage..

The Tucker- Pritchett Family

The family of Mitchell and his gay partner Cameron, who adopted baby Lily from Vietnam..

The Dunphy Family

The family of fun Phil, perfectionist Claire and their children: popular kid Haley, nerdy Alex and blur Luke..

Now you get why it's modern?? I love how modern but how close all the three families together, I especially love Phil's character who is a very loving husband, also a very fun father for his children, and I also love how cute baby Lily is!!

So I went out with the sis the other day and I was so craving for cake I even dreamt about it!!! I gotta go to Fruit Paradise and have tart!!! So off we went to Fruit Paradise at Orchard Central.. It was my fourth time visit to Fruit Paradise and I always had the tart at the OC branch as it is quiet, also if you sit by the window you get to enjoy Orchard Road's view, so..don't go there..it will be crowded because of you..=p

During my last three visits, the tarts served were huge, which made me happy and satisfied with them.. But this last visit, the tart seems shrunk in size, which made me kinda sad, given I was really craving for it that time..=`((

Then we took a lot of pictures like mad, till the waiter kept staring at us, but who the hell cares?? =p

We went down to basement 1, wanted to cross to Centrepoint, and boy we found more pretty props to take more pictures with!!! =p

Even the toilet is pretty in Orchard Central!!! =p

It is always fun to hang out with the sis because she always obliged to what I want la!! =p If I wanna eat cake, she'll accompany me.. If I wanna just sit down and drink tea, she'll agree, sometimes it feels like I'm bullying her all the time, teehee..=p But that's what a little sister is for, isn't it?? =p She knows I love her to death laaa, read her blog HERE!!!

Met up with Jess again on their last day visit in Singapore and brought them to Orchard Central to take some pics.. You know how I love Orchard Central..=p

They were brave enough to took the escalator all the way to the rooftop, and as always I went through the lift inside..=p

A Braidy Friend

So my buddy Jessica visited Singapore two weeks ago and I was too excited coz she's the one who can, and willing to braid my hair!! I always ask my sis or my mom to help me braid my hair but they always complaint that my hair is too layer, too messy, bla bla bla, ended up boring hair everyday.. So yayy to braidy friend!!! =p

We met up at Bugis Junction that day coz I wanted to show them Bugis Street Market which is awesome for shopping, they were starving at that time so we went to Food Junction to eat and tied the braid there!! so shameful la with her family watching her braided my hair..=p

During his last visit to Singapore, bf and I realized that we visited Orchard Road more often than his usual visits to Singapore.. He is not a shopping type of guy, usually we would just find cafe, sit and reminiscing, but this time, it was more of this famous road of Singapore.. So I recently read a blog post which is kind of "similar" to mine and it made me frown. Like Xiaxue said, if you cannot write then don't, why copy? It may be almost all pictures post, but I kind of did some work to get those pics too and a post with same pics is just not cool, man, not cool.. But this has made me learn to appreciate people's original work more and try to pay more attention to credits every time I am to use others work or pictures..=`)

Anyhow, enough with annoying peeps, move on to favorite person in my life who spent two weeks of holiday with me.. I felt so much loved whenever he is with me.. <3<3<3 Now that is something no one can copy..=p

On our monthiversary we visited Vivo City- Resort World Sentosa, and I just can't get enough of how beautiful Sentosa is.. Major love.. <3<3<3

Fireworks at Singapore every Saturday until NDP!!!

Everyone at Singapore!!! You can watch beautiful fireworks at the City every Saturday until National Day Parade!!! You can catch it especially beautiful by Waterfront-Esplanade.. We watched it by Marina Square just now together with the crowds and it was spectacular!! The fireworks will come out at around 8pm so be there!! Gotta love Singapore sometimes..=`)

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part II World Premiere

The last Harry Potter World Premiere was on 7th July 2011 in London.. 10 years has gone and the World Premiere of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part II has finally came.. It made me sad to look at all the pictures of the casts at the premiere.. They all have a part of Harry Potter in them as they grow up and I can't believe and overwhelmed of the fact that I am actually a part of this era, an era of Hogwarts!!! I really think that J. K. Rowling has successfully created a world of magic and fantasy in every single one of us who read and live in Harry Potter books.. I don't think I would ever leave the world of Hogwarts, I would even made my children and grand children read them!!! Arrghhhh I don't want it to ever end!!!

First Time..

Okay I know I post lots of Little Kent lately, that's because my life kind of revolve around him now!!! =p
It was Little Kent's first day at school last week. We were all very nervous, coz for the other students it was their third term already, while Kent is new, and he does not speak or understand English. Can't bear to look at his nervous eyes and behavior and the thought of leaving him for 4 hours!! His first and second day were tough. He did not want us to leave him all by himself in the classroom. And his teacher was no help at all, just sat there and assigned the other students, didn't bother to approach and try to made Kent comfortable at all.. *sigh* This made me thought of all my hard working ex-colleague back there at Rainbow School..

So by the third day, thanks to all his friendly friends (still, the students, not the teacher's effort) Little Kent finally feel comfortable enough to enter the classroom by himself. We all feel very relieved, though he is still slow at writing or singing or catching up with the others.. But we appreciate his progress and decided to cheered him up a little during the weekend by taking him out to play..

So my friend, whom also my mentor while I taught at Rainbow School, Ms. Olivia came to Singapore for the weekend with her family. I learned a lot from her during my years of teaching, and I dare to say she is a good teacher, even better as a friend.

So I am to show you our touristy pictures during her visit..=p

We met at Vivo City which explain the Resort World background.. Sentosa is gorgeous ehh??

The thing I hate about her: She is tall and slim la!!! I look so short and fat beside her!! This girl could never get fatter no matter how much she eat, she should become a food blogger!!!

Whenever I hang out with my sister, or some of my close friends, we always talk about some pretty girls who are perfect, have everything they need, beautiful killing faces and their life seems problem-less, we end up with self pity and obviously jealous..but we always talk about them in a good way though, a lot of praising and actually kind of obsess!! =p

It's the end of an era.. I am sad..=`( In July 15 2011, Harry Potter the movies will officially come to an end. I am not sure whether I could drag myself to watch the final part of Deathly Hallows coz J. K. Rowling killed FRED WEASLEY!!! Why oh why from all Weasleys She just had to kill Fred?? She could have killed Percy!! Or..or.. I don't know, just not the twins..=`( and..and.. Lupin.. and Tonks.. She just had to left Teddy alone didn't She?? and.. and.. damn you Harry Potter, you should have surrender yourself earlier!!! =p

So, J.K. Rowling has a new project called POTTERMORE and whatever it is, it lifted Harry Potter fans mood there that the wizarding world won't be leaving us so soon after all..=`) The author herself hasn't revealed what the project is about but you can check it out at http://www.pottermore.com/

Of course Harry Potter will always stuck with us, coz we still have The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studio, Florida, but..but.. when can I get there???

The show was actually fun with humour from the presenters, but since Little Kent didn't understand and he felt bored with all the talking, he forced us to leave..=p

Still Singapore Zoo related, Little Kent had so much fun at it's Water Play!! The Wet Play is located at Rainforest Kidzworld inside Singapore Zoo.. Little Kent spent most of our time at Singapore Zoo at the Wet Play coz it was supa fun!!

A visit to Singapore Zoo

We decided it's time for Little Kent to visit the Singapore Zoo!! He was so excited, plus the weather was coincidentally good, so tickets we bought!!

Prices were SGD 20 for adults and SGD 13 for kids..

The zoo holds these Zoolympix Activities for kids.. SGD 2.00 for each activity..

Annoying fact about Ah Meng is that her human bodyguards are all super buay tahan cocky!! They were all act like super protective of the Orang Utans and won't allow us to go near her and will immediately shoo with their hands roughly, even to kids.. I know Orang Utans are like the men of Singapore Zoo but I expect them to at least speak with friendly attitude lah especially to kids, cause we actually pay money to visit the zoo okay..geez..they totally spoiled our mood, and CJ stated maybe cause they had been interacted too long with Orang Utans and lost human interaction.. okay that kinda cheered me up a bit..=p

Life is so fragile..

So ironic that I wrote about osama's justice death and I lost my uncle after that, tragically.. It has been exactly one week since he left us.. He was a good looking, kind-hearted, easy going man.. He was my step mom's brother. He became close to our family since six years ago.. My mom is specially fond of him because he was so obedient and always took good care of us.. He was the one who send us everywhere every time we are in Medan. He helped my mom took care of Little Kent ever since he was born. He was practically Little Kent's second dad, he spent more time with Kent more than Kent's own father.

He was 29 years old. He died because of a terrible car crash. There were four of them inside the car. The other three are safe. He was the one in a critical condition, just because he chose to sit on the left-front side of the car. He put on seat belt, yet the driver who is an Indonesian police-had drug before the ride- came out safe and sound. Talk about the irony of a good man, who died tragically. How is the world ever fair?

My step-mom and mom still can't accept the fact that he is gone. All of us can't accept the fact that he is gone. Little Kent lost a dear one who adored him so much, he doesn't quite understand, we told him his dear uncle has gone to be with our Dear Jesus Christ. Even my father sobbed in his funeral. All of his good friends, young and old, mourned his death. We all cursed the driver, who didn't even pay visit nor say any condolence since the accident. I pray to Lord my God justice will be done to him.

He was the one who sent me to work while I was in Medan. I love the way he drive, he was a steady yet careful driver. He never complaint whenever I need to also sent or fetch my friends. All of friends also adore him. In fact everybody who knows him, adore him. We had a huge fight before, he and I. But I never regret that moment. It taught both of us to be mature. It actually secretly bond us even more closer. I only regret that I never really thank him of what he had done to my whole family. He didn't even get the chance to say any final word to any of us.

Today is the seventh day of his death. I wish that he would come to visit us, even if it's only in our dream, so I could get the chance to say, Thank You, dear uncle.. Farewell, and you will surely be missed.. You'll stay and live forever in our heart. Go towards His light..

Fairy Tales do Exist Afterall..

The prince married the princess and the villain died?? So the fairy tales do exist after all!! So the al-qaeda leader, osama bin laden (he was so evil he does not deserve capital letters on his name and the whatever tribe he leaded) is dead!! Like after 9 years, 8 months and 20 days, justice is finally done.

I am so sick of those act-saints that said the US didn't have to killed him, quoted "an-eye-for-an-eye-made-the-world-goes-blind" thing on his death, I wanna puke. The guy was a terrorist leader, he killed thousands of beloved family members in the 9/11 incident, I don't wanna relate to politics or religion, but he was a murderer- a mass murderer. Imagine one of your friend or family members died in that incidents. They were innocent, osama was not. And they deserve justice, a piece of mind. So I dare to say he deserved that, in order for justice to be done. Bite me. He can't even repay all those with his death, during the last moment of his life, he used one of his wives as human shield. That guy was not even human, geez..So long and ciao ciao!!

There is always black and white, good and bad. Why don't we just stay kind to people whenever we can? I hate conflicts, whenever I smell one, I will just avoid it, it's easier, so that I won't get hurt, and I won't hurt people. If people is kind to you, you should be kind to them, isn't it the right thing to do? If people treated you bad, leave them. If a relationship gets unhealthy, ends it. Relationship is based on love, not pain, and everyone deserve happiness. Just remember, Karma does exist too..

Everyone is talking about the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine (Kate) Middleton or as we know now The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, I have to blog about it!! Besides, I need to have an April ending post, so here it is.. I know I don't have lots of readers, but some people said that they enjoy my writing, which just encouraged me to never stop..=`)

Back to the Royal Wedding, not because it's Royal, but I am really really happy for them..At least the prince has found his true love, and I really really hope they would live happily ever after, please don't let what happened to Lady Diana, happen to Kate..

I really love LOVE, and for me marriage is a very sacred thing.. I come from family with divorce background, and one of my best friend ever asked me, whether I will be afraid of the idea of "marriage" because of it. Turns out, on the other hand, I don't. Worst case: I crave for it. I am a total su**er for good love stories. I want my own happily ever after, I wish for my own prince to come and rescue me..awwww... <3
So, back to THE Royal Wedding, ever since I saw Ivanka Trump's wedding dress, I know how my wedding dresses would look like.

All of them should be lacey, especially the sleeve!! And now Kate Middleton just confirmed my idea!!

Simple Habits-Giant Animal Ride at Vivo City

Are you ready to play??

We went to Vivo City two weeks ago with Little Kent and mom too, and there was this crowd just outside the main entrance. We went to peek and there were all those cute big bubble like animals that appeared to be Giant Animal Ride!! Of course Little Kent needed to try it!! I was not sure to be able to ride it with him so pushed CJ to accompanied Kent instead..teehee..=p

The name would be Simple Habits, and there was queue of doting parents ready to ride with their kids..

Off they go on the big crocodile!!!

Apparently, big crocodile was too slow and can't carry those two, so one of the staff suggested them to change to...

It looked like CJ enjoyed it more than little Kent..teehee..=p It costs SGD 8.00 for a ride around 5-10 minutes.. A bit expensive though, but it was all fun and cute!!

Sentosa Boardwalk

This is a long overdue post..CJ and I went to Vivo City last Chinese New Year and I wanted to take him to check out Resort World, but the queue of the monorail was unbelievably looooooooooooooongggggggg..like really really longggggggggggggggggggggg..so the staffs kept yelling for us to just go by Sentosa Boardwalk, which I didn't know about it then, and I kept thinking, what, we had to walk?? I got aunties' legs!! teehee..=p

So we ended up took our afternoon break at Max Brenner (read about it here.) and waited for the weather to cool a bit then we decided to...walk...

Turned out it is quite nice!! They have like the walking elevator so we don't really have to "walk", and the whole boardwalk is decorated with colorful flowers and nice decorations, like, check out that pretty stairs above!! And the whole walk was made from "board" which is clever, that will make you forget you are actually walking the whole way from Vivo City to Resort World, Sentosa!! Plus the admission to Sentosa through Boardwalk is only SGD 1!!!

Real Love is all about.... chocolates, flowers, and diamond rings?? Well, I've received chocolates and gold rings, but until now I've never received any flower from CJ in our 6 years and 2 months old relationship. So that concludes our love is not real!! The End.

That paragraph pretty much sums up the relationship between two people nowadays isn't it? Bet people were so much more in love back in the 40s-80s, I just wanna live in those days!!

If I ask you what is the most romantic movie you have ever watched? I guess most people will agree if I say Titanic is a romantic movie?? Do you think Jack (Leonardo Dicaprio) and Rose (Kate Winslet) had a taste of a Real Love in Titanic?

They did promise to "jump" together...

and they did...

But, in the end??

So what movie, in my opinion, shows Real Love?

Even though distance comes between us right now (I am in Singapore while CJ is in Medan) both of us determine to make it work. And I think that is the most essential things in a relationship. Both of us should try to commit in it, both of us should try to meet each other halfway. Commitment, is the key to have a Real Love.

I wish that CJ and I could be taste Real Love together, grow old together, and be there for each other, till the end.

Sister won a Valentine giveaway from one of Singapore's talented young bloggers, Andy Kwan a.k.a Andy Storm. I dare to say talented coz he obviously took his blog seriously and put in efforts in his every posts, so go and take a look!!

He posted a Valentine post in which readers (girls only) can comment and he will choose randomly 3 lucky readers whom he will give chocolates to personally. So sis got lucky and he sent her an email to meet up to collect the chocolate!! I went with her to be her photographer, but..but...I also want to take picture with him la!!

You know that people always say that life is hard, cruel, unfair, but we should anyhow be nice to everyone.. Every religion taught that, every one knows that it is the right thing to do, common sense, be moral.. But still crimes committed every single day.. Violence occurred every single day..

Been on an emotion roller coaster lately.. Relationship ends and people get hurt. You can be nice to people, but people tends to abuse kindness.. People get used to your kindness that they want more.. They crave for it, and they make use of you.. And one day when you fight back, they turn their backs on you, they bite you, they despise you, they laugh at you, they make fun of you.. In the end, you are the one who left heart broken, and suffering.. You got to collect every pieces that is left behind, and they will leave you.

Xiaxue once tweeted, "Don't be nice to ungrateful people." I gotta say that I agree with her. You be nice to people but they are not thankful for that, they are ungrateful, thinking that it is the right thing to do. They don't care about your feeling, will not put themselves in your shoes, as long as they get what they want.

Always remember, people are selfish. In the end, it is to their interest, they take the decisions. Some people could just be so realistic that they don't care about feelings. Be it family, or friends, relationship is a privilege, you don't just get it, you have to earn it.

A close friend of mine once reminded me, "You gotta choose your friend." I said, "I did." She said, "No, you didn't." Now it got me thinking and realized, yes, I didn't. It's hard to find a decent friend nowadays, those who really stick to you and will not take you for granted, those who will remind you when you have made mistake, those who still love you no matter what. Same goes for family.

Sometimes it is easier to be ignorant. Do not need to care whatever happen to other people. Just think of ourselves, our own things and dreams, protect our own feelings. But is it what this world has turned too? A bunch of selfish ignorant people? Who would kill in order to be on top? Who would steal in order to satisfied their greed? Who would ignore feelings to gain their benefits?

The more I see of the world, the more I am dissatisfied with it; and everyday confirms my belief of the inconsistency of all human characters and of the little dependence that can be placed on the appearance of merit or sense..-Elizabeth, Pride and Prejudice

I have listened to Maroon 5 since I was in High School, since their first album, Songs about Jane..And who does not love Adam Levine, their lead singer?? His voice is alluring and he wrote most of Maroon 5's hit singles!! And of course who can resist his charming looks and bods la!! (sorry baby CJ, you're still my <3) =p

But last year when I watched Victoria Secret's Fashion Show 2010, my heart broke. Adam Levine was in the audience together with his band mates, to support..........his girlfriend!! His Girlfriend is one of Victoria Secret's angel, Anne Vyalitsyna from Russia who is also SI Swimsuit model!! Pretty and talented of course, but still, jealous!! Ouch such pretty couple!!

She has also starred in Maroon 5's two latest singles, "Misery" and "Never Gonna Leave This Bed" from the album Hands All Over..

And soon, in April 25,2011, Maroon 5 is going to perform live at Singapore Indoor Stadium!! Oh Lord please sponsor me!!! My favorite band so close here in Singapore!! I pray to God to please please please sponsor two tickets for me!!!!!!

Half Boiled Eggs

Do you like half boiled eggs? I have been consuming it since I was little..I remembered my late grandmother used to prepared it for us every Sunday..My sister is a huge fan of egg. I like eggs but I don't eat it often.. But I love half boiled eggs which people often said that it is actually not really a healthy kind of snack..

Nowadays it is quite easy to find half boiled eggs with stalls like Yakun Kaya Toast or Killiney around. Half boiled eggs maybe fun but if you prepared it wrong, it would be a total disaster..This post is dedicated to my cousin who mix her half boiled eggs for the first time two months ago when we had our afternoon snack at Killiney, Suntec City.. teehee..=p and this was her result:

Universal Studio Singapore

Finally we checked out Universal Studio Singapore!! We bought the tickets online, way weeks before..It is better if you bought the tickets online, as you don't have to queue for it, and you could make sure that it won't be sold out on the day you wanted to visit. We went there on the first of February, which was also the day they stopped giving the $5 vouchers!! Dyamn!! Oh well..but still very excited, as after around one year of it's opening, we finally got the chance to take pictures with the Penguins of Madagascar!! teehee..
That whole week Singapore had been poured by heavy rain, but the day we visited Universal, the sky was bright!! How blessed!!

It was the week of Chinese New Year, so just in front of Universal itself, there was a giant Fortune Rabbit, as it is the new year of rabbit..

after that, pictures with the famous characters!! one thing that was quiet annoying is that every time we were at the queue, the staffs will shout last shot!!! and then walk away without let us took the pics!! dyamn!! We missed Gloria and Alex from Madagascar, Frankenstein, 2 more penguins from Madagascar, and don't know who else!! Had to runnnnn to the queue before the "LAST SHOT!!" which resulted in messy hair!!!!

Betty boop is cute and super flirty and all but that she was flirting with CJ and leaned on him la!!! grrrrrr..

Super loved the Ancient Egypt part of the studio for I've always wanted to visit the mysterious yet glamorous Egypt but....money not enough la!!!

We tried the Mummy Ride which everyone said "MUST TRY" and I was too auntie for it la!! Cannot stand it until the pics turned out so hideous that we all laughed at my expression, but CJ just had to go for second round, coz Galactica hasn't operated yet and he can't get enough roller coaster so off he went and we ditched him and took picture with two Egyptian guards..teehee..=p

From Egypt we continued to The Lost World...

and we stopped by Fossil Fuels to fill our stomach..

The sky went dark so we went inside the castle which is the Shrek 4D Adventure and saw this cute poster..

From Far Far Away we proceed to Madagascar!!!

We rode on King Julien's Beach Party-Go-Round..Silly as it may seem but it was so much fun!! We laughed the whole way and felt so much younger again!! =p

I love that every corner of Universal Studio in Singapore can actually become a very good spot for photo shoot!!

Went to Erni's house for a reunion with my college buddies before CJ and I flew to Singapore for Chinese New Year. Ivanna went back to Medan on that day so we had to had our members united!! =p

And since Erni gave birth to Little Ethan that made him our newest member!! I love his chubby cheeks so much!! <3

Happy 2011!! It's 11, let's hope it's a lucky year for all of us!! My sister and I spent New Year's eve with my bestie, Karunia and her ever-merry siblings who came to Singapore for holiday too!! We had lunch at President (Indonesian Restaurant) at Lucky Plaza where they serve yummy fried rice!! Too hungry till forgot to took pictures of the food..=p My sister kinda fell in love with the owner's business tongue...=p

So this is the last post of 2010!!! What I can reminisce from the year? ~~Can't get a job in Singapore, LPR rejected, go back to Medan, go back to previous work place~~, damn!! People are moving forward while I am moving backward!! I hate the year, but, hey, at least, kind people are still exist, like my friend Ms.Olivia who helped me to get a job back and Mr. Erwin who accepted me back, and on this year, I got a new camera!! teehee..=p

Of course everybody wants and expect a better living..I do not have any resolution for the year 2011, I have giving up expecting too much and had enough disappointment..Next year I just wanna be happy, I just wanna surround myself with happy and healthy people who instead of pulling me down, toast me up..=`)

Enough of the emo thingy, and let's fill this post with pictures!!

Tangs may have won the Best Dressed Building at Orchard Road, but in my opinion, Ang Mo Kio Hub has the best decoration in Singapore for this year's Christmas!!
